Wibe Forms Separate Company for Telescopic Mast Activities

AB Wibe announced today that it has organized its Telescopic Mast activities into a separate company named Wibe Telescopic Masts AB.

The principle objectives of forming a separate company are to better serve customers, streamline operations and focus resources.

Wibe Telescopic Masts AB will continue to design, engineer, and produce the full range of telescopic masts and accessories, provide technical services, and offer customized assistance as has been provided in the past.

- The strong performance of the telescopic mast sector even in this weak economy lead us to believe that forming a separate company would enable us to concentrate attention on the customer, and develop new products and services to meet evolving user needs, says Jan Sjöberg, Vice President of Wibe Telescopic Masts AB.

As a world leading telescopic mast manufacturer the objective for the new company is to serve its world wide customer base better by focused marketing and sales representatives on telescopic mast produces and services.

Wibe Telescopic Masts AB will continue its business in Mora as before with the same staff that have long experience in the field. Claes Anselmsson is President, Jan Sjöberg is Vice President, and Marketing & Sales is headed by Stefan Norgren. Wibe Telescopic Masts will take over all rights and existing contractual obligations and under existing contracts as well as existing business such as valid quotes and ongoing deliveries.

- 2008 was a banner year for our telescoping mast operations, and 2009 bookings and potential orders look strong at this point, says Jan Sjöberg. Our total team stands ready and looks forward to supporting our customers’ needs now and in the future.
